    After further exploring, I have found a couple of options that enable showing a list of posts with a short excerpt, rather than the entire blog content.

    Set up a new page to display the blog posts list, add a ‘Posts’ element. Here I can set Number of Posts to show and a Custom Excerpt Limit Words.

    The other option, is the ability to ‘Insert Read More tag’ into the blog content, limiting the text shown in Blog Category list view, before the ‘Read More’ link button.

    Thanks so much for all your help, and for fixing things!

    I think I also had an issue with having a page named ‘News’ and a ‘News’ category, same URL. Got rid of the page, and the posts now show.

    My only comment is, there should be a way to just show the post excerpt or post title, rather than displaying the whole post story.

    Sorry. Didn’t realise the issue. The security has been removed, as the site is now live.

    I am developing on the Staging site to add the News section, which you should be able to login to now :)

    Thanks for that.

    I have added a post with a category.

    But I do not seem to understand how to use the template for a news/blog list page (please review links attached).

    And I would like the news stories to be:
    http://www.nameofsite.com/news/title-of-story/

    I am struggling to get the blog list page to look great, like your demo examples.

    Also, wondering why the logo does not show up in Footer, but does on home page?

    Hi,

    Ah yes, I tested the Salamat theme Demo on iPad. But the demo menu has drop-down submenus, so first tap (similar to mouse-over on desktop) initiates the hover to show the drop-down submenu. My website is a one pager with no submenus, and you must tap twice to get the nav button to go to link (anchor on same page).

    Using the Creator, click on the ‘paint palette’ icon (on the right-side of the “Untitled section” black bar).
    This opens the ‘Section Properties’ panel where you can add your Section Title.
