Posts are entries that display in reverse order on your post page. Posts usually have comments fields beneath them and are included in your site’s RSS feed.
To create a new post go to Dashboard->Posts->Add New. Start filling in the blanks: enter your post title in the upper field, and enter your post body content in the main post editing box below it. As needed, select a category, add tags, and make other selections from the sections below the post.
You can set the Featured Media of the post. The Featured Media can be: Youtube video, Vimeo video, Soundcloud audio or an image.
In the Select Post Layout you can choose what layout your post will have, as well weather you wish it to be Featured post. Featured post will be shown in a Featured Post widget. If you’ve set up a Post Layout to be with the sidebar, you can choose what sidebar you’ll have on your post page.
When you are ready, click Publish.
