    Hi!
I wanted to translate the search placeholder and I changed searchform.php and partials/header_search_default.php but it only changed in home page, not the rest of the pages, what file am I missing?
    Thanks!

That is in header_search_default.php as you said, I’m not sure how is this even possible..
Why are you translating it in code when you have WPML?
    Translate it in .po file

What .po file? I just changed default.po in jomelle/languages and it still doesn’t work. In wp-content/languages I only have spanish .po files.

I really don’t know where that “Search” is coming from…

It is possible that WPML controls it.
As far as I know default.po is not loaded, if you have two languages you should use two .po and .mo files, en_EN and es_ES
