    Hi

    I would like to customize the layout of the portfolio

    here how it looks now:

    I would like to remove the image left to the description and replace it with an iframe (google maps). Is this possible? And how can I translate the field in portfolio description and if possible remove or add some?

    This is not possible via options, but you can customize the code in single-portfolio.php file so that it includes the google maps.

    The translation is done with .po files (see here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Translating_WordPress for details). Adding and removing is also done in single-portfolio.php
