If you plan on making any updates (customizations) or additions to our theme outside of a minor CSS adjustment or a simple script such as Google Analytics, you will definitely need to look into setting up a child theme on your site. If you’ve never setup a child theme before, don’t hesitate. It’s actually a lot easier than it might sound, especially since we provide you with the tools you’ll need to get everything up and running.
Our themes come with a blank child theme included, all you need to do is modify it the way you want. For more information on child themes check out codex pages.
