WordPress supports menus and widget settings and some other settings by folder path. If you accidentally or intentionally change the name of the theme folder, then the path is no longer valid. You need to rename your theme folder back to what it was before, and your settings, menus, widgets will be restored. If it’s necessary to keep your previous theme folder, then simply make a copy of it before you upload the new theme.
